Self Medical Group Selects O'Neal as Owner's Agent

O’Neal, Inc. joined in the Thursday, May 19, groundbreaking celebration for Self Medical Center in Laurens County.

O’Neal is acting as owner’s agent on the project, which is estimated to have a $12 million impact on the county.

The 30,000-square-foot facility located between Clinton and Laurens will allow for the consolidation of existing practices already associated with Self Medical Group, a network of physicians affiliated with Self Regional Healthcare.

Site work is scheduled to begin this summer, with construction beginning this fall. The facility is expected to be ready for occupancy in August 2012. It will house primary care physicians and nurse practitioners, as well as some specialists.

The project architect is Courtney Furman of Furman Architects Inc. in Greenwood. The contractor is Rodgers Builders Inc.
